People facing these kinds of medical tragedies often also have to deal with trauma related disorders such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, mood concerns like depression, anger issues, or anxiety, and may come into the experience with pre-existing trauma, grief or personality related concerns. As a result Frank has considerable experience in working through the impacts of traumatic events, managing depression, and anxiety, and working through the grief and practical implications of major life changes.
Frank brings a compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy and assessment knowing that his patients are the experts in their own experiences, lives, and bodies. He draws primarily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques in his therapy practice.
