Dr. Lise McLewin
R. Psych.
Dr. McLewin completed her doctoral studies in Clinical-Developmental Psychology at York University, and a one-year clinical internship in London, Ontario with the London Clinical Psychology Internship Consortium. She has worked with children, adolescents, and their parents in a variety of settings, including outpatient mental health clinics, inpatient mental health hospitals, and the school district.
With a solid understanding of child and adolescent development and psychopathology, Dr. McLewin provides both assessment and intervention services. Psychological and psychoeducational assessments may evaluate child development, learning, behavioral, or mental health concerns. Dr. McLewin works in treatment with children, adolescents, and their caregivers around a variety of presenting issues, which may include anxiety, depression, trauma, social skills, or behavioral concerns. Dr. McLewin's primary modality is Cognitive-Behavioral, although she may integrate other approaches as appropriate (e.g., Client-Centred, Mindfulness, Collaborative Problem-Solving).
Dr. McLewin is registered to practice in the Province of British Columbia (#1960).
