Dr. Tanna Mellings

Dr. Mellings has a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of British Columbia. Her primary clinical orientation is Cognitive Behavioural and she has training in Interpersonal Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well. Her particular interests are in the assessment and treatment of anxiety, trauma, and depressive disorders in adults. In particular she has expertise in the treatment of social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, health anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and panic disorder. She is also interested in the treatment of depression, anger, stress, and relationship difficulties. Dr. Mellings conducts both individual and group treatment. She has worked in both hospital and private practice settings and has experience with insurance companies, Worksafe BC, Veterans Affairs, and police departments. Dr. Mellings is one of the clinic directors and has been with Vancouver Island Psychological Services since 2003. Dr. Mellings is registered to practice in the Province of British Columbia (#01576).
